Did you know that some pharmaceutical companies have programs to help patients who can’t afford their prescription medications get the medications they need? There are also some private foundations that offer financial aid to patients, including: HealthWell Foundation, Cancer Financial Assistance Foundation, National Foundation for Transplants, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Patient Financial Aid Program.
